I only have one more email after this one so I promise you don't have to listen or read my ramblings for much longer...I promise! and Thanks to those who still read these emails!
Anywho...the line is wearing thin and it's really weird to think that I only have so little left here to serve the Lord. I'm getting a lot of mixed feelings about what's happening and what's soon to be my reality of not being a missionary anymore. The only thing I can do is to continue forward and continue to do my best every day and not focus on what is going to happen on the 30th of June.
Long story short...Nothing really new happened this week. Zone work hasn't changed, but we have had some pretty good firesides lately. President Fenn has taken every single opportunity to teach us which has been really nice, I've sincerely appreciated every single opportunity that we've been given to learn more Doctrine of the Book of Mormon before we go home. It's really been a very Spiritual Experience for me.
We have a Restoration activity on Friday, we will talk about the Prophet Joseph Smith and the Restoration of the Church. I am personally really looking forward to that and will hopefully be able to learn even more about the Prophet Joseph. I'm hoping that things will continue to work out and that things will continue to go as planned and hopefully we won't have to make any last-minute changes to the schedule.
Spiritual Thought: Well, this week I'm going to be coming from Jacob 1:19
19 And we did magnify our office unto the Lord, taking upon us the responsibility answering the sins of the people upon our own heads if we did not teach hem the word of God with all diligence; wherefore, by laboring with our might their blood might not come upon our garments; otherwise, their blood would come upon our garments, and we would not be found spotless at the last day.
This scripture is really powerful in my opinion and it really talks about the importance of magnifying our own individual callings and offices. Especially in our families, and those whom we are around and associate with. We have the responsibility to learn and teach the doctrine and then we will be found spotless before God on the last day. I know that we all have this responsibility but it is an accomplishment, this task as we ask the Lord and Rely on Him. As we continue to labor and continue to follow Him, we will be blessed. I know these things to be true in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Well I hope that all of you have a Fabtabulous week!
I love all of you very much!
Y'all are great!!!
Stay Fabtabulous!
Elder Wyatt Gatlin
