New Job!

How's life treating all of you back home!? Sorry about not emailing last week...the JSMB was locked down and I couldn't really go anywhere else. It kinda made things a little bit hard since we didn't have zone all week. Luckily we were able to hang out with each other and enjoyed having a great time. It gave me a lot more time to do more personal study of the scriptures. I've really benefited from that extra time and experience. We had a lot of time to do whatever we wanted. Thankfully I don't remember most of that because it was dead and it wasn't really exciting nor something that I want to do again....

I have a new job though. We are doing research on different countries helping out the Family Search employees update the "All About Me" Experience on the discovery floor for various countries around the world that don't have that much information on there. I've really enjoyed it and have been really pushing myself to try to make up for the week of work that I lost.

Sorry it's really short but nothing much to talk about
Spiritual Thought: So this week's spiritual thought is going to come from D&C 21:9

For, behold, I will bless all those who labor in my vineyard with a mighty blessing, and they shall believe on his words, which are given him through me by the Comforter, which manifesteth that Jesus was crucified by sinful men for the sins of the world, yea, for the remission of sins unto the contrite heart.

I read this scripture this week and I have turned back to this scripture many times. Because it's really hard to be in a time like this when not really anything is going on and you can't do much because of quarantine reasons. But as long as we are doing all that we can to serve him...he will bless us for our efforts to continue serving, continue pushing forward, and our continued efforts to stay clean and worthy of his spirit. I know these things to be true in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I hope that all of you have a Fabtabulous day.
Y'all are great! I Love all of you very much!

Stay Fabtabulous!

Too much happening

Hello, all of you Fabtabulous People!!! So....A lot of stuff has been going on and has been happening. THE FHL & ALL OF CHURCH CAMPUS IS CLOSED! At first, I didn't believe it. But when I came to do emails, the Joseph Smith Memorial Building was closed and No one could get in. So....I honestly don't know what they're going to do and I don't know what's going to happen to us. All that I know is that we are going to receive further instruction on Monday after President Fenn has spoken with a member of the Council of the Twelve. So...a lot of stuff is going on and I'm doing my best to continue forward regardless of the situation and circumstance that all of us are in.

The week has been pretty good and I've just been doing my casual assignments as usual. My companion and my District Leaders companion both had Disney training. So Elder Balls (My DL) and I have been companions most of the day all week. It's just kinda crazy since there've only been two of us doing the zone work and so we've had to go from floor to floor making sure that everything is running smoothly. So...it was kind of crazy but we made it through.

Spiritual Thought: This week I'm going to be coming from 3 Nephi 27:33

33 And it came to pass that when Jesus had ended these sayings he said unto his disciples: Enter ye in at the strait gate, for strait is the gate, and narrow is the way that leads to life, and few there be that find it; but wide is the gate, and broad the way which leads to death, and many there be that travel therein, until the night cometh, wherein no man can work.

I find great comfort in this scripture. It distinctively tells us everything that we need to do in order to make it to the Celestial Kingdom. YAY! All that we have to do is follow that Strait and narrow path and do everything that is required to stay on that path. Now that may not be an easy thing to do but it is something that we can do. We must pray to our Heavenly Father and ask for help and we shall receive the help that we so desire. I know that we can receive his guidance and counsel if we just ask. He will answer our prayers. I know this to be true, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Well, I hope that all of you will have a Fabtabulous Week!
Make the Most out of every moment of Every Day!
Love you all So very Much!

Shaka!

New week, more opportunities and pressing forward

Hello, all of you Fabtabulous People! I've been doing pretty good! I had a pretty good week, I had a surprise visit from a previous Elder who I became really close to Elder (Graham) Barron. That was pretty fun. ALSO.......Previous Stake President and his wife, President & Sister Hamilton are up here! I swear I was having to do a double-take: I saw him walking back to my apartment as he was just moving in. At first, I wasn't sure so I didn't say anything...as I got closer it became so clear who it was and I was like...Well, this is pretty cool! My Stake President is serving in the same mission that I am serving in...that he sent me on...This is Cool! Turns out, they're waiting for his Visa to go to Zimbabwe. So I wish him luck whenever he leaves for his mission in that part of the world.

As for the rest of the week...nothing major happened yet this week. Just continuing to do my zone work each and every day to the best of my ability. Which is all that I can do.

Spiritual thought of this week is going to be coming from 3 Nephi 12:16

16 Therefore let your light so shine before this people, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

The principle of this scripture is very simple. We shouldn't be afraid to share our talents and abilities with others who could benefit from them. We never know what our actions lead to. We never can see the full spectrum of our actions and the example that we set for others. All that we know that we can do is to set that example for all others around us and make sure that we are trying to be the Light of Christ in other people's lives. One thing that we do can totally change someone's life. So we need to make sure that we are always worthy enough to have the companionship of the Holy Spirit with us always so that we are able to be one of his treasured instruments that he can use to touch the lives of others. I know these things to be true. I know that all of us can be that light for others whomever it may be. We can all strive to follow Jesus Christ, he will assist us in our efforts to change and be like him. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I hope that all of you have a Fabtabulous week! You all are amazing people!
I love all of you so very much! Y'all are Great!

Stay Foxy!
