Give up your sins and come unto Christ

Hello all of my favorite people!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I have had so many blessings this past week and I can't even start to explain how grateful I am for how the lord has blessed me. So first off, I thank you all for your prayers and I have definitely felt the love from back home. So first off, I have had the amazing opportunity of going to the assisted living homes and helping them with their family history. I really enjoyed that and I could really feel the spirit that day, I honestly hope that I can do that again because the spirit that they brought was amazing and I know that he was helping me find more information about their ancestors. Secondly, the scriptures are beginning to open up more and I'm gathering a better understanding of them. I really like it because, as you know I'm not the best reader, but as I read the scriptures more, I've been more and more intrigued by all the lessons that I can learn from the teachings of the prophets of old. I'm really enjoying the lessons that we are being blessed with that are being taught by the other young elders. I hope that I can teach at least one lesson soon because I would like to teach from my point of view on the topics that we are given. But over all, the lessons and the Sunday lessons have all been really great and I have been doing my best to learn all that I can from everything that I'm taught here on the mission.

Also another thing. So today as we went shopping I got only the things that I needed for the week. We were up to pay and the lady who was paying before us totally paid for our groceries. I honestly couldn't believe it. She totally didn't have to but I can't believe that she did it. I can't even express how grateful I am about it. But I can't even begin to count all the blessings that I have been blessed with on the mission and I hope that I can continue to do the lords work on this mission and I hope that I can learn to have a deeper understanding of the gospel and have a greater testimony than I did before.

Great news!!! I'm actually doing my zone duties instead of not doing them at all because we were loaned to another zone doing absolutely nothing. So I'm actually doing something now and I'm not totally bored anymore. I'm busy and I feel like I'm doing a difference now.
But personally I've been all over the place emotionally. I've been down and up and in every other direction. I've been doing the best I can to push through the hard days and I've been doing great on the really good days. I've been getting help from some of the other elders here on the mission and I've been trying to get myself out of the hard spots but you can't do everything alone and every now and again you always need some help.

Now for my spiritual thought.
I've been reading from 2nd Nephi lately and I've been thinking a lot about all that he teaches. So in the beginning of the book he talks from Isaiah and from what he teaches. One thing that is talked about from the entire book is giving up your sins and coming unto the lord. Being exalted from following Christ's example, and The Lord fulfilling the covenant with the house of Israel. I really started to think about what I'm doing to better build up his kingdom and what example in public I'm making which I've been doing better at. I've been trying to better help people and I've been trying to become a better person as I continue to be out on the mission with all the other elders on the mission and I challenge all of you to think about the example that all of you are setting try to improve in those area's to become a better disciple of Christ.

I hope all of you are having the BEST DAY EVER and I can't wait to share more information with all of you soon.

All of you are amazing and I love all of you very much!
