The Homecoming!

We met a friend on the way to pick him up. Sarah Watson Clint has been my friend since we were babies. Her daughter, Jaelyn Clint, was serving at Temple Square and she came out of the elevator as we were going in. I don't believe in coincidences. She looks just like her mother.

The anxiety of seeing him and getting the first hug was off the charts.

Everyone was so happy to see him and have him home.

Thanks Danelle and Kevin Adams family for the fun yard decor.

Time for the Climax!

Well, everyone...I can't believe that it's finally here. This last week is going to be kind of a blur for me. I honestly can't think of anything else that I can tell you that I haven't already said before. I really honestly have appreciated the time that I've spent on this mission and the wonderful teachings of the Book of Mormon that I've learned. I am sincerely grateful for the blessings of the Spirit that I have received. I am thankful for the wonderful friendships that I have forged while on this mission and the wonderful opportunities that I've been given to serve amongst such amazing people and been able to serve in the capacity that I have been given. I wouldn't trade this experience nor my spiritual growth and experiences/ spiritual capacity that I've gained for anything in the world. Yes I have had my struggles and I have had times where I fell short...but I got back up, learned from my experiences, and kept pressing forward with a steadfastness in Christ.

I have come to understand the doctrines of the Book of Mormon and the teachings that are inside its pages and chapters. I have come to know more about how the Holy Spirit speaks with me and how it's changed my life. I know that all of us can come to a knowledge of how the Holy Ghost speaks and interacts with each of us in our lives if one is willing to take the time to listen carefully to the still small voice and be actively seeking a greater understanding of the Spirit. I have also come to know of the Goodness of God and His mercy that He has towards His children. I know that he truly loves His children and will help all of those who ask for His divine Help. He will always come to aid those who seek after His guidance and direction.

I know for a fact that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he was an instrument in the hands of God and brought forth the Book of Mormon by the Gift and Power of God. I know that he is at the helm of this dispensation and that our current prophet Russell M. Nelson was called of God and that He holds all the keys that are necessary to lead this church on the earth today. I know that all of us can have the spirit with us as we put ourselves in a situation where we can be sensitive to the spirit and where He can dwell with us. I know that the Lord wants to teach us and He wants to teach us about His doctrine and wants to reveal to us the teachings that will allow ourselves to step up to a greater level of discipleship as we pay the price to gain that understanding of the scriptures.

I know that our hearts can be turned to God when we come to know Him, and I know that we can continue to grow in light and understanding when we ponder upon the teachings that we read from the scriptures each day. I know that we can learn and grow and become His Disciples and part of His fold as we make daily efforts to become more Christlike and as we actively seek for more opportunities to serve His children and all those around us. I know that all things are possible through Christ and that through Him can we become changed and truly born again through the Spirit. I know that the Book of Mormon to be the word of God and I know that it is true and that as we Hold fast to the Iron Rod...we can not fall away and we can not fail. God will always strengthen those who follow Him. The experiences that we get in this lifetime give us the experience to deepen our roots into discipleship.

I know these things to be true in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I sincerely have appreciated this opportunity to serve my Father in Heaven and I am also excited to come home on June 30th.

I love you all dearly and you all have helped me change so much

Almost There

Hello!!! We're back at it again with another weekly email...
I only have one more email after this one so I promise you don't have to listen or read my ramblings for much longer...I promise! and Thanks to those who still read these emails!

Anywho...the line is wearing thin and it's really weird to think that I only have so little left here to serve the Lord. I'm getting a lot of mixed feelings about what's happening and what's soon to be my reality of not being a missionary anymore. The only thing I can do is to continue forward and continue to do my best every day and not focus on what is going to happen on the 30th of June.

Long story short...Nothing really new happened this week. Zone work hasn't changed, but we have had some pretty good firesides lately. President Fenn has taken every single opportunity to teach us which has been really nice, I've sincerely appreciated every single opportunity that we've been given to learn more Doctrine of the Book of Mormon before we go home. It's really been a very Spiritual Experience for me.

We have a Restoration activity on Friday, we will talk about the Prophet Joseph Smith and the Restoration of the Church. I am personally really looking forward to that and will hopefully be able to learn even more about the Prophet Joseph. I'm hoping that things will continue to work out and that things will continue to go as planned and hopefully we won't have to make any last-minute changes to the schedule.

Spiritual Thought: Well, this week I'm going to be coming from Jacob 1:19

19 And we did magnify our office unto the Lord, taking upon us the responsibility answering the sins of the people upon our own heads if we did not teach hem the word of God with all diligence; wherefore, by laboring with our might their blood might not come upon our garments; otherwise, their blood would come upon our garments, and we would not be found spotless at the last day.

This scripture is really powerful in my opinion and it really talks about the importance of magnifying our own individual callings and offices. Especially in our families, and those whom we are around and associate with. We have the responsibility to learn and teach the doctrine and then we will be found spotless before God on the last day. I know that we all have this responsibility but it is an accomplishment, this task as we ask the Lord and Rely on Him. As we continue to labor and continue to follow Him, we will be blessed. I know these things to be true in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Well I hope that all of you have a Fabtabulous week!
I love all of you very much!
Y'all are great!!!

Enduring to the end

Hello all of you Fabtabulous People!!!

This week has been quite interesting and quite long. I've been doing my best to continue to push through the hard long and boring days. Luckily...things have been improving, my whole district talks a lot during zone because we get really bored and it's helping build up friendships that will last long. That has also really been helping me go day to day. Especially since I'm trying to endure and stay strong till the end. I wish that there was more to report on but we still don't do much. Just indexing and cataloging all day.

Spiritual Thought:

So this week I'm going to be coming from 2 Nephi 32:9

But behold, I say unto you that ye must pray always, and not faint; that ye must not perform anything unto the Lord save in the first place ye shall pray unto the Father in the name of Christ, that he will consecrate thy performance unto thee, that thy performance may be for the welfare of thy soul.

This scripture I really enjoy and I read it this morning. This personally speaks to me about the power of prayer and the wonderful blessings that it brings from praying unto the Father. I sincerely know of the Power of Prayer and the wonderful things that it can do in our lives and for us spiritually. Prayer is one of the mighty tools that we are given to plead unto the Father for forgiveness, Power to withstand spiritual temptations, Power to stand firm in the faith, and the ability to receive personal revelation. We all need to take better care to be meaningful in our prayers and pray with sincere intent and we shall really feel the spirit more in our lives. I know this to be true in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Well I hope that Y'all will have a Fabtabulous Day!
I love all of you so very much! Y'all are Great!

Amongst the chaos we shall have peace

Well....this week has been interesting, full of a different kind of excitement. I will do my very best to try to explain everything the best that I can.

1st off...zone is still normal and still boring. We're pressing forward, and trying to help each other out through this trying time and this final month of our missions.

2nd off, we're all trying to do our best to not be too stressed with the
situation. We know that the Lord is with us and that we are being protected of the Lord, it's just a different kind of afraid with all these things that are going on around us. But we can truly find happiness, peace, and Joy as we turn our hearts to God and allow Him to heal us. I'm not perfect at it either, and this is a work in progress for everyone. We won't be able to get there in a day, it takes consistent effort on our part to get there.

3rd, we have a huge curfew put in place by the city of Salt Lake City telling us that we need to be inside by 8:00 p.m. which does kind of put a dent on things, but we're doing our best to make due.

Amongst all that, we're still doing our best to do our work to the best of our ability

Spiritual Thought: So this morning, 1 Nephi 20:17-18 really spoke out to me:
17 And thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; I have sent him, the Lord thy God who teacheth thee to profit, who leadeth thee by the way thou shouldst go, hath done it.
18 O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandment—then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea.
This scripture was super powerful to me! So, I love how it tells us the blessings of keeping the commandments. As we keep the commandments, follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and keep pressing forward, we shall have continual peace wash over us through these times and as we continue forward in righteousness, we shall prevail and as the words of a popular hymn read "I'll never, no never, no never forsake." We will always have his spirit to be with us and we will find that this too shall pass and that the Lord will always be with those who serve him. I know these things to be true in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I hope that all of you will have a Fabtabulous week!
I love all of you and y'all are great!!!

The Final Transfer

Hello all you Fabtabulous People!!!

This week has been interesting...but the final transfer is now in effect. A lot changed for me, My companion is Elder Lassle again, which I'm super excited about. I technically switched zones...but I'm still on the same floor, and I'm still doing the same work. So I guess you could accurately say that I switched companions and apartments. We had 7 people go home yesterday, which was the largest group to date. We now have the last 32 Elders on the mission now, and all of us will be sent home by the end of the month...but I don't wanna focus on that

We had an activity for Memorial day which was super fun. We all went up to a certain park up in Bountiful and had a huge Barbecue with all the Young Elders. It was super fun, we had a ton of stuff there, President Fenn afterward did a little Church Questionnaire kind of thing. Then we had the rest of the day off. It was a pretty good day and something that we needed.

Spiritual Thought: Today we're gonna be coming from Jacob 6:11

11 O then, my beloved brethren, repent ye, and enter in at the strait gate, and continue in the way which is narrow, until ye shall obtain eternal life.

This scripture is amazing and I really love it. I really love how it gives us the simple directions to follow the strait and narrow path and we can then repent and gain eternal life. This doctrine gives us everything that we need in order to be disciples. We must simply turn toward the Lord and turn to him and allow him to mold us into the person that he would have us become. I know that we can continue to improve and change as long as we continue to follow His example and continue to push forward. I know these things to be true in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Y'all are amazing and I love you all so much!
Keep enduring! This too shall pass!

Tranfers Coming

Hello all of you Fabtabulous people...

This week has been another boring week of the same old stuff. Just another week of doing what I can to survive the quarantine and working at a computer all day. But we're almost there and we're almost done. Transfer's is around the corner and it's the final one. It kind of scares me, it's crazy how time flies when you're serving the Lord.

I know these emails are really short but nothing new really happens up here....sorry.

Spiritual Thought: Today I'm going to be coming from D&C 105: 18-19

18 But inasmuch as there are those who have hearkened unto my words, I have prepared a blessing and an endowment or them, if they continue faithful.
19 I have heard their prayers, and will accept their offering; and it is expedient in me that they should be brought thus far for a trial of their faith.

Now, this scripture I read recently and I thought of everyone getting through this crisis that we're going through right now. We all don't like the situation that we're in and it may not be the most enjoyable thing ever. But we all need to continue forward in faith and the Lord will bless us. I know that I have my off days where it all seems to crumble, but by the end of the day we can all kneel down in prayer and be honest with our Heavenly Father and just say, "I really don't like this, and I really need your help getting through this trial. I can't do it alone and it's straining all my efforts. Please help me." He will then give you the strength you need to continue forward through this test of Faith. We all can call upon him for he will always answer the prayers of those who are seeking after things of righteousness. He will always strengthen those who ask for it and seek after it. I know these things to be true. I know that we can all get through this. He is there for us. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I hope that all of you have a Fabtabulous week!
Y'all are Great! I love y'all so much!

More Hiking, Mission Conference and HAIRCUTS!!!

Hello all of you Fabtabulous people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope all is well during this time of quarantine...even though it's hard. Things have been improving though and that's good. The work still continues going forward and I'm still working on cataloging old surnames from the United Kingdom. That's been pretty interesting, but it's hard especially when things tend to get monotonous.

On Monday something special happened.......WE GOT HAIRCUTS!!!!!!
Our mission nurse called in some professionals and they came in and they came in and gave us some free haircuts which was very much needed and very appreciated. A lot of the missionaries had previously gotten a haircut from a very popular local barber that recently opened up about a week and a half ago. But there were still about 14 of us that got one. Thanks to them so very much!

Mission conference: On Wednesday we had a very spiritual virtual mission conference. We had the counselors from LDS Family Services speak to us about: Enduring to the End: How this is the time to dig deep, give it all we have, and hang in there because things will improve and things will get better. We shouldn't give up on the progress that we could make just because of the fact that we've been quarantined for so long and everything seems monotonous. Stay in tune with the Spirit: The Spirit can be one of our tools that we can continue to use in times like these, and how that we can truly develop a sincerely strong relationship with the Spirit. We can allow him to guide and direct our lives and allow us to be able to become the best disciples that we possibly can be in these times. Finding Heroes from the Book of Mormon: We can find some of our own personal heroes from the Book of Mormon and the wonderful things that they were able to do because they trusted in the Lord, took the time to come unto Him, Hear what he wanted them to hear, do what He wanted them to do, and because of such; they became his disciples and an example that we can all draw from. Those were the main messages that I got from the mission conference.

Spiritual thought: So this week I'm going to be coming from D&C 88:119-120

119 Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God;
120 That your incoming may be in the name of the Lord; that your outgoings may be in the name of the Lord; that all your salutations may be in the name of the Lord, with uplifted hands unto the Most High.

Now, this scripture is very powerful when you think about it. Now it can be trying to reference the temple, but here's what I think it's trying to say. We need to make sure that we can take the spirit where ever we're going. We should be able to make our hearts a house of the Spirit of the Lord. We should make sure that our hearts have room for the Spirit to dwell. That is our sacred connection to the Godhead, is the Holy Spirit. As we continue to allow the Spirit to be with us, we can then take the necessary steps that we need to take to receive personal revelation. Having the Spirit is a powerful tool and a sacred blessing that all of us can take advantage of. I know that we can all have the Holy Spirit with us and He Will, continue to bless our lives and help us through questions, trials, whatever it may be. He will help you, but you have to be willing and ready to listen to what the Spirit would have you do in order to receive personal revelation. I know these things to be true, in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I hope that all of you will have a Fabtabulous Day! All of you guys are great!
Keep hanging in there, Press forward, Endure through this Trial of Faith.
Love you all so much!

Another week of excitement and hiking

Hello, all of you Fabtabulous people!

This past week has been really fun! My companion and I have gone hiking up this one trail about every single day, mainly for the benefit of getting fresh air. Since we work sitting down all day, we need to get outside because... it's boring working in the dark and so forth so we're like. "Hey...it gets us out of the apartment and we can use the muscles that don't really get used anymore.

I know these emails are really short and I wish that I had more to report on but, quarantine kind of knocked out all of the activities that were planned. (SORRY)

We also had a really spiritual conversation about a Bruce R. McConkie speech that he gave at BYU "Households of Faith" https://speeches.byu.edu/talks/bruce-r-mcconkie/households-faith/?M=A (I recommend this talk to everyone! It's a real good one) and we were talking for about an Hour 15 it was super great! He says a lot about things that we today can do to become better disciples and I've been taking some of those to heart. Which turns me to my Spiritual Thought for the week.

Spiritual Thought: So...Bruce R. McConkie said something along the lines of this, this is how I interpreted this statement. "We must crucify in us the Old man of Sin, and be resurrected and become born again in Christ." I really thought that was very profound because All of us need to take that step in life. We all can do better about taking and purging the natural man in us and getting rid of him and truly becoming a saint through Christ. We all have our different weaknesses and things that are given to us "For our Experience" They give us experience
so that we can learn, grow, and become better from them. At the moment, they may seem like they do nothing but keep us from doing certain things, but they truly are given to us for a reason. The Lord will reveal unto us the purpose of all things if we are willing to make the sacrifice to become fully committed to God, nothing wavering and nothing doubting. In times like these, it can be difficult to remember our God and to fall back and get very relaxed with our relationship with God. DON'T LET IT HAPPEN! That's Satan trying to get you to do those things. I know that as we deepen our commitment to serving God, we will truly be blessed for our Righteous Efforts. I know that we can truly continue to press forward and do better! I know that we can continue to press forward on the covenant path and partake of the Fruit of the Tree of Life. I know these things to be true in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I hope all of you have an amazing week!
You all are super Fabtabulous!
I love all of you so very much!

Continuing to press forward

Another week has come and gone and I am still surviving. It hasn't been too bad. I'm just glad that we followed the rules as well as we did because President Fenn has allowed us to now gather in groups of four again! It has made everything a little more bearable and much more enjoyable. We've been putting forth our best efforts to continue to be the best missionaries that we possibly can be. It's been hard at times but we've been making due.

Transfers happened on Monday and then people moved on Tuesday just like last time and I love my new companion. Elder Rawlins is my new companion and we've enjoyed our companionship so far. We started moving him into my apartment at around 4:30ish, and we got finished getting everything of his into my apartment about 5:10. Both of us were very shocked at how fast that we got everything moved. We then had the rest of the evening to do whatever we pleased. It made for a very relaxing evening and very stress-free.

Other than that life's been going forward and continuing to press forward.

Spiritual Thought: This week we're gonna come from Alma 9:25

28 Therefore, prepare ye the way of the Lord, for the time is at hand that all men shall reap a reward of their works, according to that which they have been—if they have been righteous they shall reap the salvation of their souls, according to the power and deliverance of Jesus Christ; and if they have been evil they shall reap the damnation of their souls, according to the power and captivation of the devil.

I personally read this scripture this morning and to me it really made me think about what our works actually lead towards. As we keep our heads held high, continually making sure that our efforts are within the bounds of Righteousness, we shall be saved at the last day. We must continually ask ourselves, "Would the Lord be pleased with this?" Personally, it's really helped me gain a greater sensitivity to the spirit and it's allowed me to continually grow stronger and stronger in the spirit. I know that as we have the spirit with us we will be able to better measure our efforts and making sure that we do all that is necessary to keep that spirit with us always. I know these things to be true. I know that all of us can gain a better connection with the spirit as we continually "Watch ourselves" and our efforts, actions, thoughts, and words. We will continually be blessed for our efforts. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Well, I hope that all of you continue to have a Fabtabulous week! Y'all are great!
Keep pressing forward!
Love you guys so much!

Stay Awesome!

Week 5 as a Corona Virus Survivor

HEYO!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that everyone is at least doing their best to hang in there! I'm doing my very best, even though it's hard. I mean...the the most exciting thing that I've probably done this week was walking down to go get Panda Express for dinner. Other than that we have to make our own fun and keep each other's spirit's up. No, it's not always easy, but you gotta do your best to keep doing what is right and stay on the covenant path.
Ether 12:6 is probably one of the best scriptures to actually describe what's happening in our world now. We really don't know when this whole thing is gonna end. All that we know is that it eventually will. All we can do is, Trust in God, Have Faith and Hold our heads high. Because there is nothing that we can do to make this go away right now.

James E. Faust said this: "Following the Saviors example during hardships helps us endure our personal "bitter cups." Having drunk the bitter cup, however, there comes a time when one must accept the situation as it is & reach upward & outward."

When I read over that...I got spiritually slapped in the face! It's so true! We have to accept what is going on around us. Accept that the only thing that we can do is follow the rules that have been put in place, and look for ways, despite the quarantine, to serve others and look outside ourselves. We've been taught so many times that serving others is one way that one can find Joy and obtain Joy in their lives. I know that we can find Joy in our current circumstances and we can all be joyful in our works and through each and every single day. I know that despite all that's going on, as we turn to God and look unto him and ask for Joy and Happiness, we shall receive what we are seeking. I know these things to be true, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I hope that all of you have a Fabtabulous Week!

Another week has come and gone

Hello, all of you Fabtabulous People!!!
It's been a very slow going week. Same old same old every single day. Still working in the FHL doing our various different projects. We try to cause at least a little bit of trouble to keep people somewhat entertained... Maybe, but not sure quite yet. We're trying to help each other out through this major trial that we're all going through at this moment in time. The extra time during the evening has been a beautiful asset to me for more spiritual things. I'm just hoping that I can continue to be happy in my current position and circumstance.
It's getting harder and harder to make these emails long because nothing much changes and nothing is really exciting so I'm really sorry

Spiritual Thought: Today I'm going to be coming from Alma 22:14
14 And since man had fallen he could not merit anything of himself; but the sufferings and death of Christ atone for their sins, through faith and repentance, and so forth; and that he breaketh the bands of death, that the grave shall have no victory, and that the sting of death should be swallowed up in the hopes of glory; and Aaron did expound all these things unto the king.

Now, I brought up this specific one especially since we just celebrated Easter. I personally feel like we need to take more time throughout the year to focus more on the savior. Especially the wonderful Gift of receiving a remission of our sins. That is one of the greatest gifts that we can never fully appreciate. We have the wonderful opportunity every single night to ask to be made clean and to have his spirit with us for guidance, direction, and protection. We would do well to remember that the Lord is always going to be with those who are seeking to do better and seeking to change who they are and trying to become more. We need to take advantage of that and we need to use it. He gave it to us to use, and we should do all that we can so that we can be worthy of His spirit. I know that we can always retain a remission of our sins. I know that anything is possible through the Lord. I know these things to be true in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Well, I hope that you have a Fabtabulous week!
I love all of y'all so very much! Y'all are amazing!

Dying of boredom. . . . . but still pressing forward the best I can

Hello everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully...everyone's still alive up here and none of us are crazy quite yet. But we're doing our best to keep ourselves busy, and our minds occupied so we don't have to think about the fact that 1. We're practically stuck at our apartments for quite a bit of the time 2. We have one route to and from zone that kind of gets old. But other than that we're doing our best to stay occupied.

Since we haven't been able to congregate as a group or really hang out with other people, it's given me the opportunity and the blessing of being able to study my scriptures a little bit more. I've been reading through the Doctrine & Covenants, and it's amazing. It's been a major blessing and I've felt the spirit bear witness to what I've been reading is true. I know this could be a time for us to get discouraged and a time for us to murmur and complain to Heavenly Father about the whole Virus thing. But actually, this is a time for us to receive amazing blessings from the Lord! This is a time where we can take and make the time to diligently read the scriptures and come closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. We are all at home, and we can take the council of Elder L. Whitney Clayton and make our homes "The Finest Homes" To make our homes an even stronger Spiritual Sanctuary from the stuff from the world.

With that....Spiritual Thought!
We will be reading from D&C 88:124-126
124 Cease to be idle; cease to be unclean; cease to find fault one with another; cease to sleep longer than is needful; retire to thy bed early, that ye may not be weary; arise early, that your bodies and your minds may be invigorated.
125 And above all things, clothe yourselves with the bond of charity as with a mantle, which is the bond of perfectness and peace.
126 Pray always, that ye may not faint, until I come. Behold, and lo, I will come quickly, and receive you unto myself. Amen.
Now....since we are at home it can be easy to get lackadaisical in our relationship with God since we aren't able to go to church and everything that goes along with that. That would mean that our relationship could be at a standstill. Bruce R. McConkie has taught that there is only moving forward or backward in our relationship with God. It's never stagnant. We have to continually make efforts to increase our relationship and continue to press forward and continue on that covenant path, repenting every day, and being better and doing everything that we can to continually be the Disciple of Christ that He knows that we can become. I know that we can continually improve and strengthen our relationship with God and continually Spiritually Strengthen ourselves and continue to #Hear_Him. I know these things to be true, in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Y'all are Great and Fabtabulous! Continue pressing forward!
Love Y'all!

Stay Fabtabulous! #Hear Him

Continuing Forward. . . . .away from Corona

HELLO all of you Fabtabulous People! I hope all of you are holding up well despite everything that is going on in the world around us. I've been doing pretty good out here. It's been kinda weird up here with still everything going on. We still have our projects that we're doing, I'm still researching Zimbabwe and I'm finding some really cool stuff. I actually really enjoy this project a lot and I consider this a blessing.
I am thankful for this wonderful opportunity. Even though the world is freaking out around us we can find comfort from the Lord if we ask for it and if we do what we can to continue forward knowing that everything is gonna be ok and that everything is gonna end up being ok.

Nothing major left for me to say here....sorry...

Spiritual Thought:

This week I'm gonna come from D&C 63:66

66 These things remain to overcome through patience, that such may receive a more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, otherwise, a greater condemnation. Amen.

This scripture really gave me a ton of comfort. This allowed me to know of a surety that...this will pass and that as long as I am faithful and as long as we all do everything that we can to stay on the covenant path despite everything that's going on. If we stay faithful...we will receive our reward. I know that all of us can do this, I know that we can continue forward without fear. I know these things to be true. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen

I hope that all of you will have a Fabtabulous week!
You are all amazing and I love all of you!

Stay Amazing!

New Job!

How's life treating all of you back home!? Sorry about not emailing last week...the JSMB was locked down and I couldn't really go anywhere else. It kinda made things a little bit hard since we didn't have zone all week. Luckily we were able to hang out with each other and enjoyed having a great time. It gave me a lot more time to do more personal study of the scriptures. I've really benefited from that extra time and experience. We had a lot of time to do whatever we wanted. Thankfully I don't remember most of that because it was dead and it wasn't really exciting nor something that I want to do again....

I have a new job though. We are doing research on different countries helping out the Family Search employees update the "All About Me" Experience on the discovery floor for various countries around the world that don't have that much information on there. I've really enjoyed it and have been really pushing myself to try to make up for the week of work that I lost.

Sorry it's really short but nothing much to talk about
Spiritual Thought: So this week's spiritual thought is going to come from D&C 21:9

For, behold, I will bless all those who labor in my vineyard with a mighty blessing, and they shall believe on his words, which are given him through me by the Comforter, which manifesteth that Jesus was crucified by sinful men for the sins of the world, yea, for the remission of sins unto the contrite heart.

I read this scripture this week and I have turned back to this scripture many times. Because it's really hard to be in a time like this when not really anything is going on and you can't do much because of quarantine reasons. But as long as we are doing all that we can to serve him...he will bless us for our efforts to continue serving, continue pushing forward, and our continued efforts to stay clean and worthy of his spirit. I know these things to be true in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I hope that all of you have a Fabtabulous day.
Y'all are great! I Love all of you very much!

Stay Fabtabulous!

Too much happening

Hello, all of you Fabtabulous People!!! So....A lot of stuff has been going on and has been happening. THE FHL & ALL OF CHURCH CAMPUS IS CLOSED! At first, I didn't believe it. But when I came to do emails, the Joseph Smith Memorial Building was closed and No one could get in. So....I honestly don't know what they're going to do and I don't know what's going to happen to us. All that I know is that we are going to receive further instruction on Monday after President Fenn has spoken with a member of the Council of the Twelve. So...a lot of stuff is going on and I'm doing my best to continue forward regardless of the situation and circumstance that all of us are in.

The week has been pretty good and I've just been doing my casual assignments as usual. My companion and my District Leaders companion both had Disney training. So Elder Balls (My DL) and I have been companions most of the day all week. It's just kinda crazy since there've only been two of us doing the zone work and so we've had to go from floor to floor making sure that everything is running smoothly. So...it was kind of crazy but we made it through.

Spiritual Thought: This week I'm going to be coming from 3 Nephi 27:33

33 And it came to pass that when Jesus had ended these sayings he said unto his disciples: Enter ye in at the strait gate, for strait is the gate, and narrow is the way that leads to life, and few there be that find it; but wide is the gate, and broad the way which leads to death, and many there be that travel therein, until the night cometh, wherein no man can work.

I find great comfort in this scripture. It distinctively tells us everything that we need to do in order to make it to the Celestial Kingdom. YAY! All that we have to do is follow that Strait and narrow path and do everything that is required to stay on that path. Now that may not be an easy thing to do but it is something that we can do. We must pray to our Heavenly Father and ask for help and we shall receive the help that we so desire. I know that we can receive his guidance and counsel if we just ask. He will answer our prayers. I know this to be true, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Well, I hope that all of you will have a Fabtabulous Week!
Make the Most out of every moment of Every Day!
Love you all So very Much!

Shaka!
